That´s it! The last day of 2015 arrived to say goodbye.

Time to revise what was done and what was not, what lessons were given and what did I learn from them.

To help me with the task, I open Iphoto and select the last 12 months, pictures and videos, after a couple of hours I was able to draw few conclusions.

Interesting when you try to comprise a full year into a 6 minutes video and try to understand the core of it.

It is the time you invest with the people you love that allows you to savor the true flavors of life…nothing else.

It is never too much to remember that:

A good life is build with good relationships : If we want to live happy and longer we need better relations. For next year I definitely need to have more lunches, dinners and gatherings with friends, family and specially the ones that I could not find so often in the 2015 pictures or videos.

Despite all the news, love is still the most powerful one : 2015 was fertile in bad news and worrisome facts but what really made a difference was the time we manage to love and show it to someone unconditionally.

If you don’t know how to do it, use the 12 steps to self-care, they can help.

1 – If it feels wrong, don’t do it : Years pass and they don’t bring you only grey hair, they also give you wisdom and it is good to practice it more often.

2 – Say “exactly” what you mean : Most of our pain comes from what you keep inside, don’t hesitate to say “exactly” what you mean, you will never regret.

3 – Dont be a people pleaser : Your respect it is earned because you have a saying that shows your thoughts and your uniqueness.

4 – Trust your instincts : Yes! Your instincts. Forget all the books and presentations in the end of the day the answer lies in you.

5 – Never speak bad about yourself : What goes around comes around and you only want good things to come your way…it depends on you.

6 – Never give up on your dreams : You might not reach them fully…but you can always get a step closer and enjoy it.

7 – Dont be afraid to say No : Point 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 can help you on this one.

8 – Dont be afraid to say Yes : Point 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 can help you on this one.

9 – Be kind to yourself : Once a day, once a week, offer yourself something nice and if you are a really good boy/girl, every year make sure you treat yourself like a King/Queen

10 – Let go of what you can’t control : It might sound strange, but truly enjoy what you cannot control, seat back and have a moment number 9

11 – Stay away from Drama and negativity : Keep good memories (pictures, videos, postcards, you name it) at hand and use them in the most difficult moments, they are powerful tools.

12 – Love : Go back to point number 1 and redo the process during the next 12 months.
